Food was delicious and the service was great. The bar had a nice ambiance and even though there was live music it did not interfere with my family's ability to have a nice meal. It may have been the only choice in town but we would definitely return. It was pricy, but in line with similar bars and restaurants in the area.

Hard to believe I never reviewed the Coast Cafe, not that I write reviews much anymore but I thought "back in the day" I surely would have. There are a lot of things to like about the Coast Cafe, my favorite place to sit is outside and in front of the restaurant, although the tucked away patio seating is lovely too. I didn't realize until recently that there is a pastry case inside with house made baked goods and I'm not sure that I should let the secret out on this public platform but they make the most amazing bran muffins on the planet. And it's hard to get excited about a bran muffin I know, they're usually like flavorless hockey pucks. Yesterday I asked at the cafe what made these muffins so special and I was told "endless love and magic". Also yesterday they had fresh caught blue fin tuna served up in a variety of ways and it was AMAZING the way I had it, seared w/a sesame see crust. Melt in your mouth incredible.

This little coastal town is busy on the weekends, parking was difficult to find. We sat outside in the back garden, it was a lovely day for it. We shared Drake's oyster, local sourced was very good. We ordered grilled option with butter and garlic. I also had the Red Pork Pozole soup, it had the perfect portion of hominy to pork. We add the lime, shredded cabbage, and chips. It was a delightful lunch.
